Admission Procedures

Our goal is to help you get settled and feel comfortable as quickly as possible. On the day of your admission to the hospital, you will meet with a patient service coordinator at the Admission Counter.

OPERATION HOURS :

Monday – Friday : 8:15 am – 5:15 pm
Saturday : 8:15 am – 12:50 pm
Sunday : 9:00 am – 3:00 pm
Public Holiday : 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

 During the admission, please have the following documents with you:

LOCAL PATIENTS (MALAYSIAN)

  • Appointment Card
  • Identification Card (IC) or Birth certificate (if below 12 years old)
  • Pension Card for ex-government employees and / or dependents – original and a photocopy
  • Government Guarantee Letter (GL) from the Head of Department (for government officers and / or their dependents)
  • Certification Letter from school, college or university and birth certificate (if patient is a government officer’s dependent below 21 years’ old and using parents’ GL / parents’ pension card)
  • Service Book for former Angkatan Tentera Malaysia (ATM) officers or personnel who have served for more than 10 years
  • Company’s GL inclusive of Insurance, TPA, Public Listed and Private Company (provided the company has credit facility with IJN)

INTERNATIONAL PATIENTS (FOREIGNERS)

  • Appointment card (if you have been issued one)
  • International Passport
  • Company’s GL (Letter of Guarantee if charges are borne by the insurance company or employer)

CASHIERS AND BILLING COORDINATORS

For your convenience, our Cashiers counters are located within the admission office, outpatient registration zone and outpatient pharmacy at Ground Floor Block A. There is also cashier at the Ground Floor Block B next to the Emergency Department.

The counters operation hours:

ADMISSION OFFICE

Monday – Friday : 8.05 am – 5.15 pm

Saturday    : 8.15 am – 12.05 pm

Sunday    : 9.00 am – 3.00 pm

OUTPATIENT PHARMACY

Monday – Friday : 7.30 am – 7.00 pm

Saturday    : 8.15 am – 2.00 pm

OUTPATIENT REGISTRATION ZONE AND BLOCK B

Monday – Friday : 7.30 am – 5.15 pm

The cashiers accept payment for hospital and physician services in the form of cash, traveler’s cheques, money orders and most types of credit cards.

Billing coordinators (Patient Financial Services Department) are located on the Lower Ground Floor of Block B to assist with financial concerns and to help identify the payment option that is best for you.

They are available to assist you Monday through Friday 8.30 am – 5.00 pm. And 8.30 am – 12.00 noon on Saturdays.
