Responsible for registration and admission of patient. Responsible for financial charges upon admission / discharge. Responsible for any task on discharge of patient. Administration task on deceased patient. Other specified duties as instructed by Head of Department.

ATTENDANT, OBSERVATION & EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Tracing and dispatches the patients’ medical records (PMR) from Medical Record Department to Emergency Department and other department as instructed. Send patients to ward and other department such as Radiology, Physiotherapy, NCL, ICL and Operating Theatre. Accompany patients for procedures or investigations in other hospitals.

SENIOR MEDICAL OFFICER/MEDICAL OFFICER

The successful candidate will be assisting the Consultants in the four various divisions and Wellness Centre. He/She will also be required to provide intensive care management for inpatients and outpatient as well as perform call duties for ward rounds.

VISITING CONSULTANT NEPHROLOGIST

Provides nephrology consultation service to IJN patients. Provides training to IJN staff in management of dialysis patients and haemodialysis service. Supervise provision of haemodialysis services at IJN. To be the person in-charge of haemodialysis services at IJN.

Provides reports / interprets the diagnostic imaging procedures in the Department of Radiology. Ensures Radiation Protection for patients, staff and the public during imaging procedures.

CONSULTANT CARDIOTHORACIC SURGEON, DEPARTMENT OF CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY

Performing Cardiothoracic surgical operations and procedures. Perioperative management of Cardiothoracic surgical patients, including care of patients in the intensive care units and general wards. Management of new and follow-up patients in the out-patient clinics.

CLINICAL FELLOW IN CARDIOLOGY

The successful candidate will be assisting the Consultant Cardiologist. He / she will also be required to provide intensive care management for inpatients and outpatient as well as perform call duties for Cardiology cases.

CLINICAL FELLOW IN CARDIOTHORACIC SURGERY

The successful candidate will be assisting the Consultant Cardiothoracic Surgeons in the management of surgical patients both pre-operative and post-operative. He / she will assist the consultants in the operating room and perform open heart / closed heart / thoracic surgery under supervision. The candidates will also be required to provide intensive care management to surgical patients and perform post-surgical follow-up in the clinic.

CLINICAL SPECIALIST IN PAEDIATRIC CARDIOLOGY

Provide expertise in the general Paediatric Cardiology cases which are critical before undergoing surgery or intensive care. Provide care to patients after undergoing invasive procedures or surgery. Responsible for identifying requirements for non-invasive tests such as ECG, Holter, Echo.

CLINICAL FELLOW IN ANAESTHESIA & INTENSIVE CARE

The successful candidate will be assisting the Consultant Cardiac Anaesthetist in Perioperative Management of Cardiothoracic Surgical patients. This includes rotation in Cardiac OT (Adult and Paediatric), Cardiac Intensive Care Unit and the Invasive Cardiac Lab and undertaking on call responsibilities.
